🧱 LEGO — attention to Details

I’ve developed a habit of collecting LEGO sets. The other day, I bought myself a 24-bag set — the Hogwarts Castle — and it made me think about how small details can sometimes make a huge difference in a product.

In the photo, you can see red, light blue, green, blue, and orange bricks. Most (if not all) of them will eventually be hidden under other pieces. I believe they’re colorful because it makes reading the instructions so much easier! When building the castle, I don’t have to count “thirteen studs to the right and five down from the Slytherin crest” — I just use the large colorful blocks as landmarks. A perfect example of product thinking, when the person wearing the product manager’s hat (in LEGO’s case, probably the set’s architect) truly understands how to make their product better.
